Apeejay Institute of Hospitality was selected for the “Best Learning & Development Center”award at the 4th GOLDEN STAR AWARDS 2011.
Under this category, other learning centres that received awards were the Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development, The Taj Aurangabad and The Leela Academy.

INTENT OF THE AWARD it is about congratulating the hotels and airlines along with their best employees who have taken that extra step and such differentiated themselves from good hotels to exceptional hotels and from good employees to the best employees.
RECOGNITION : the Golden Star Awards are national awards. On the day of the award ceremony the jury members will disclose the award winners and will present the winners a trophy and a citation which will set a benchmark for other hotels to emulate and will be a feather in the cap for the award winners.
SELECTION an Independent Jury Comprising of Sr. Professionals from the Hospitality & Service Industry will judge the entries and decide on the best of the best in the respective categories.
