An alumnus of the 1998 batch of Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition Mumbai, Chef Kapil Kumar started his career with The Best Western Emerald, Mumbai and rose to the position of sous chef. He worked with The Logical Hotels Pvt. Ltd. as their Mumbai unit head gathering an industry experience of over six years. He embarked on his teaching career at IHM Mumbai, where he worked as a Lecturer for five years. He then moved to T.S. Rahaman. He came onboard Apeejay Institute of Hospitality in 2016, bringing with him good industrial as well as teaching experience.
