This comprehensive 6-month part-time program is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the culinary world (Cooking) . Whether you aspire to be a professional chef or simply wish to develop your culinary prowess for personal reasons, this course is the perfect platform to achieve your goals.

Course Overview:
Duration: 6 months ( Part-time) 
Eligibility: To Enroll in this course, candidates must have passed 8th Standard.

Course Objectives:

Foster a comprehensive understanding of cooking techniques.
Cultivate proficiency in preparing diverse cuisines.
Enhance confidence and culinary skills through industrial visits and insights from the hospitality industry.
Acquire knowledge about various cooking ingredients and methods.
Gain familiarity with the kitchen equipment and tools utilized in culinary practices

Coverage:

 This course covers the basics of Food Production, including personal hygiene and knowledge of kitchen equipment. You'll learn about the different sections in the kitchen and how to conserve energy and water responsibly. Safety rules will also be taught to ensure a safe environment.

The curriculum includes a variety of culinary topics such as Stocks, Soups, Sauces, Salads, Sandwiches, and Canapes. You'll be trained in different cooking methods and time management skills. Additionally, the course explores Indian, Continental, and Chinese cuisines.


Practical Training: 
Practical training will be conducted at The Park, Navi Mumbai. 

Certification: 

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certification from the Maharashtra State Board of Skill, Vocational Education, and Training (MSBSVET). 

Batches: 

The batches for the training are scheduled as follows:
1. July 2024 to December 2024
2. January 2025 to June 2025

Apeejay Institute of Hospitality, The Park Hotel, No 1, Sector 10, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai-400614

Faculty: 

 This course will be taught by a highly accomplished and qualified faculty from Apeejay Institute of Hospitality, Navi Mumbai, covering both theory and practical aspects.
